anne blakeney - I think it is very fiinttg that you you were acting a little kooky with the witching rod at the site of Glenn's well. That's just what your dad would have done, except I think he would have been more dramatic and pretended to have discovered water! The widows faces are very powerful, especially the black and white. The lighting is masterful and reminds me of images from Steiglitz's (sp?) book The Family of Man. Praying for you and the group. Love, Anne

Hello!Just got into this site and I realize it is a ralley, ralley good work. I am a journalist working with the Daily Monitor in Teso. I have been to Bududa before but didn't get to know such a wonderful CBO like Hands for Action exists.A lot more organizations such as this exit out there but for many years have been left out in the cold by the main stream media in Uganda. You and many others are doing a very good job that needs to be brought into light for others too to see. It is for this that I am developing a forum for Citizen Journalism where communities in Uganda can interact and have their voices heard. By end of March, 2012 the website will be running. It is meant to a not for profit media enterprise targeting rural interventions. Advocacy for effective change is our key objective and would like you to join us. We shall be very grateful.for your partnership with us and look forward to further communication. Thanks Richard?

I actually went to the Heartland Institute's list of ciltame change "experts" and checked out this writer, James Taylor. He has a BA and a law degree from "Syracuse". Yippee. Here's what I know, Deno, and what, if you still have two functioning brain cells you'll also know. If this supposedly peer-reviewed report proves what Taylor's shamelessly skewed account claims, Big Oil, Big Coal and Big Gas will pump hundreds of millions of dollars into a campaign to fully discredit the IPCC, the National Academies of Science of every Western nation and the many thousands of ciltame scientists, geologists, hydrologists, biologists, botanists, zoologists, meteorologists (no, not TV weather guys), epidemiologists and others whose ongoing research keeps confirming the IPCC consensus. But don't let that get in your way.

My spouse and i ended up being so saitsfied that Louis could complete his investigations while using the ideas he grabbed through the web pages. It's not at all simplistic just to be releasing information and facts that many the rest may have been selling. Therefore we acknowledge we have got you to be grateful to because of that. The entire illustrations you've made, the simple blog navigation, the relationships you can give support to foster it is many overwhelming, and it is making our son and us recognize that this content is fun, which is certainly incredibly pressing. Many thanks for everything!

I can empathise with your proelbm. In the medical world, we have a similar proelbm, take for example the word fall'. There are various articles written on people having falls, but almost each article has a different interpretation of the word fall. You have mechanical falls, physiological falls, near falls some studies include near miss falls. other studies say that a fall can only be when somebody accidentally ends up on the floor, others have a different twist. While this is not the same as a landslide, your frustration just happened to bring the fall'ing thing to mind. While it would be very interesting and amusing to read an article on sloppy pink smurf', I'm not sure how the rest of the scientific community would like it. It'd be a little confusing to read, but if you did it just right it would be a great laugh. Howbeit, knowing research literature, it would be extremely difficult to create any sort of conversion tool, as it would need to include near as many different classification schemes as there are people with different brains. My opinion is that creating a conversion tool will/could/might make your thesis more complicated and difficult but on the other hand, if you managed to group the different classification standards based on similarity, you might get somewhere. This is starting to make me think of meta-analyses but you probably know more on research stuff than me me being well me, not very highly educated as yet.

Seven perish in Rolpa landslide 2011-09-17
The Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) has started opening up Bulago Road in Sisiyi sub-county, Bulambuli district that was closed following the August 29 landslides that killed 27 people.
A large mass of soil and rocks had poured onto the road in Mabono parish. A grader that had initially been taken to open up the road broke down.
Two others were then ferried in. Although the road has been opened, it is still very muddy and thus not usable.
Bulago Road is a murrum stretch that starts from the Sironko-Kapchorwa highway at Bukhalu sub-county and runs through Kamu trading centre, Bulegeni town council Sisiyi Buginyaya Bulago and Musira sub-counties before connecting back to the highway.
The destruction of the road mainly affected coffee farmers in Buginyanya, Masira and Sisiyi sub-counties as they could not move their produce to the markets.
Passenger vehicles and trucks no longer use the route. The blockage had also cut off Buginyaya Coffee Research Centre located on Butandiga hill in Masira sub-county.
